Tuesday, August 2nd: Ken Sporrer’s Farmer’s Market will be held at the Templeton Shelter House from 4:00 to 6:00 pm.

Thursday, August 4^th:  Templeton Senior Citizens will meet at 11:00 am at the Corner Station.

Wednesday, August 10^th: The Carroll Community Blood Drive will be held at the Carrollton Inn Ballroom from 12 noon to 6:00 pm.  For an appointment, please call Janet at 792-4217.

Saturday, August 20^th: The Halbur Community Development Corp. is having an 18-hole, 4 person, best ball at the Breda Golf Course.  Shotgun at 1:00 pm.  Call the Breda Golf Course to register at 673-4653.  Proceeds will be for park improvements.  Last year’s golf event enabled us to buy new play equipment for the park and a Frisbee golf course.  Anyone wishing to sponsor a hold or donate a hole prize or for more information, contact Lisa Eischeid or Joyce Wittrock.

Thursday, September 1^st:  The C.D. of A. Fall Catered Meal will be served in the Sacred Heart School Cafeteria at 7:00 pm.  The meal will be catered by Lidderdale Country Store for a cost of $8.00, with the meeting to follow.  We will honor our 25, 50, 60, 65, and 70 year members.  Please call your reservation in and pre-pay to the card committee ladies, Edith (Dan) Hoffman, Irene Eischeid, Mary Ann Sibenaller, Rosalyn Sporrer, orJudy Ziegmann,  by August 15^th.

From Fr. Steve:  Thank you for your welcome – it is good to be ‘home again’.  Progress is being made on the rectory – it looks like all will be back to normal and up and running by Thursday.  Thank you for your patience!

   A note to lectors and altar servers – it is my intention to be available to greet parishioners both before and after masses on the weekend.  The Prayers of the Faithful will be available for lectors on the sacristy counters. I will give you a ‘high sign’ from the entrance of the church when it is time to begin Mass.  Servers are asked to put on vestments,

light the candles, and come to the entrance of the church a few minutes before Mass.
